Binding check
Why is the binding check important?
The bindings are a crucial safety feature of your ski equipment. They make sure that the skis release correctly in the event of a fall or an uncontrolled movement. A faulty binding can lead to injuries, which is why it is important to have it checked regularly.
What happens during the binding check?
1. Binding adjustment: We check the settings of your binding based on your weight, your height and your skiing ability.
2. Function test: We test the release mechanisms to make sure they work properly. This is done with a dedicated testing device. The results are then stored electronically.
3. Visual inspection: We inspect the bindings for visible damage or wear.
How long does the check take?
The binding check usually only takes a few minutes. We recommend having this check carried out before every ski season or before longer ski trips.
